The Gordon Research Seminar on Cornea and Ocular Surface Biology and Pathology is a unique forum for graduate students, post-docs, and other scientists with comparable levels of experience and education to present and exchange new data and cutting edge ideas. The focus of this meeting will be to explore new mechanisms to study the ocular surface including tear film, ocular diseases, homeostasis, wound healing and development, in order to identify new molecular targets and translate them into therapy. This meeting will provide students and postdocs with the opportunity to meet three distinguished speakers: our keynote speaker Dr. Sarah Hamm-Alvarez, and Drs. Graziella Pellegrini and Stefan Schrader will lead our mentorship session. They will share their philosophy of science with us.
